I appreciated what Pruitt did when he came to Athens in shaking the administrative "trees" to effect change. The program needed it badly. But like Aaron Murray's critique of him a couple of years ago, I too questioned if he was head coach material. Watching some of his antics on the sidelines as HC of the Vols, it proved to be correct.
Dang, the violations must be huge if UT isn’t paying Pruitt a buyout. Breaks my heart because he is such a jerk and was ruthless to Richt and other coaches. I’ve heard from several sources that he was poison in the locker room....and Aaron Murray validated those rumors. Looks like he finally got what he deserved. Go Dawgs!!!

As a Dawg fan, I liked Pruitt at Tennessee. Sorry to see him go. What coach will embrace the dumpster fire that is Tennessee?
The thing is, Pruitt was a pretty dang good defensive coach as a coordinator. However, he is nothing but trouble to your staff and team. He is poison to your team. I wouldn’t hire him if he donated his salary to me.
I hate it for the Tennessee players because they will ultimately pay the price for Pruitts failures.
