Depending on where you look, UGA finished with one of the top five football recruiting classes in the nation for 2021. Wednesday was the first day of the regular signing period. It’s business as usual for Kirby Smart, who has elevated the Bulldogs to unprecedented success in recruiting since he was hired as the

It is now time for Kirby and his staff to coach these men into champions and he must with all do effort WILL HIS TEAM to BEAT Saban and his Crimson Tide program...period! This is the year for UGA to go out and with every bone in their bodies come out of Atlanta with a W over The Tide and play for a National Championship.

Expectations don't seem to bother Bama.

CKS states "The rankings really come out when your record reflects it." Ours has not paid off, so it is put up or shut up with the coach speak!

There is not a coach in college football that could have done better than what Kirby has done in five years (well, maybe Saban, but that would have never happened).

For all the media love thrown Mullen’s way, UF didn’t even get a sniff of the top 10 in recruiting this year and Mullet is at the flagship institution in the top recruiting state in the country.

It seems DN takes Kirby’s recruiting for granted. If just any coach could come in and get the results Kirby has gotten, Richt would have done it and coaches at flagship institutions in Florida, Texas and California wouldn’t be looking up at UGA in the recruiting rankings and the end-of-season rankings the past four years!

All era's end eventually. Saban's will end at some point. But you have to take it from him. He won't go without kicking and screaming. Build a better mousetrap.

Recruiting is superfun but the reason we all live and die with it is that we expect a direct correlation between recruiting success and on-the-field success. For over 40 years now, let's face it, we've not gotten the results we've wanted. We've won games but we've not been able to see it all come together in the form of a Natty.

Coach Smart is showing potential in recruiting and, with some exceptions, on the field as well. It's my opinion that he's the best chance we have to win a National Title.

    Go Dawgs!

But you have to admit, Kirby, who is the 2nd best recruiter in CFA, has nearly $200,000,000 more in facilities than his predecessors. Kirby really needs to make the best of his success now. 1st, 3rd, 1st, and 3rd in the past four classes is hard to beat.

You've got to have some dudes in the key areas. QB, RB, WR, return game, then you have to have be strong in the trenches. Control the lines of scrimmage and put up points and you can compete with most anyone. Play as a team.

Then you have to have superior coaching. I was impressed with what Cincinnati did with their guys. They came ever so close to whipping us and I'm sure their recruiting classes couldn't hold a candle to what ours have been.

Entering his 6th season, Kirby will need to prove himself and silence the skeptics, doubters, and naysayers. I have said this before, I think the player talent and coaching staff the DAWGS have going into the 2021 season is the BEST group Smart has ever put together to have a serious chance at a National Championship run. Sure, we've got a couple of holes to fill but so do most elite teams. We stack up as good or better against Clemson. After that we'll have plenty of time to get inexperienced players some game experience before what should be the inevitable SEC Championship game against Bama.

All these Dawg fans that expect UGA to win a Natty because they believe THEY deserve it. The players and the coaches will be the ones trying their best to win it, all we as fans can do to help is support and urge the team onward.
