Look what I was able to get my hands on, all within the last week. Yes, I went a little hard on the Henry McKenna.
Yes, agreed on straight up. Always.
Edit: I imagine the majority of people, at least in America, don't realize how good tequila can be since they've been conditioned to think you have to shoot it and chase it or else mix it into a margarita. Most have never even tried it straight.
Guilty
Yep, That was it!!!!
Thanks my man! I just ordered two!
Glad I could help, guessing that second one's headed my way for alerting you, right?
/s ;^).
Enjoy - am sure you undoubtedly will!
OMG so good
I follow an IG account for bourbon prices around the country. Some interesting and some baffling. Here is an example he posted of baffling
That's $377 before taxes if you bought one of each
I literally just got back from a store by me and I bought one of each of the same bottles. Was $60 before taxes, $64.xx after. That's for both
Regardless of what happens, after today ends you'll probably need both.
The good news is, drinking both of those is like only drinking half of the ones from the other store?
Over the weekend I bought a limited run Jefferson's Ocean Air Wheated Bourbon. It's young, probably not aged past 4 years judging by the color. I would call it interesting, but not great.
Today I picked up a bottle of Weller 12 Yr. and ordered the Antique. Ya'll would mutiny if I told you what I paid... you'd say "DB you're full of it!" Given the scarcity and pricing of the 12 Yr. you'd have to waterboard me to tell ya where I got it.
I got a bottle of Blantons today for $69.99
The half gallons around here run at $49.99
Could resell for double that, unfortunately
My husband just brought me a Genlivet, 15. Good man!
