Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I like to do sober stretches. Dry January, abstain in April, etc. Help reset/clean up. I also never drink when I'm on my boat, until I finish my to-do list for the day, etc. The real challenge is when I start that evening and stopping at a decent bed time. I find brushing my teeth when my kids brush theirs ensures my evening ends at a reasonable time. If not I'll start listening to music or reading and it's 1am and I'm too many deep lol
I'll try not to drink during the week for a stretch of time and find it helps to sharpen and lubricates things between the ears.
I enjoy this thread and definitely enjoy bourbon, though not by any $tretch of the wallet or bar space that a lot of my fellow Dawgs do.
So, I'm sharing a link I just came across with those having the passion and the pecunia so they might be able to get one of 240 limited release bottles Buffalo Trace Last Drop, distilled in 1980, to their collection for the mere outlay of $4,600.
Wow.

I'd buy it if I could. It took 40 years to make. $4,600 isn't a bad price. If you split with 24 friends you'd each get a shot and you'd only be out $184. That's very reasonable for the product.
I'd love to do that, actually
Wow, that is only 23 more friends than I have.
I was in Mexico once entertaining clients and bought Tequila for the table that was north of $100 a shot. It was well worth it, and everyone had a grand time. Wish I could remember the label. It was not one of the "usual suspects."
Heck I wish you could too! I know absolutely nothing about tequila but I'd love to try something high end like that
First 1/2 of the game tonight is Willet
Second half will be scotch
My New year's resolution is to only drink when I'm alone or with other people.
Next time you set me up with tix we need to meet for drinks. On me.
This was from a restaurant in South Port NC...
Moore Street Oyster Bar, one of my favorite go to spots in Southport. Bridge Tender is also an old main stay over on Wrightsville Bch.
Casamigos Reposado is fantastic and not real expensive. Everyone doubts me when I hand it to them straight no salt no lime. You can see them cringe expecting the worst then the surprise look. But off topic
much appreciated, thanks!
