Georgia basketball battles back from 13 down, upsets No. 20 Missouri
ATHENS — Georgia basketball came from 13 points down in the second half to get its first win over a ranked opponent this season, topping No. 20 Missouri 80-70. It’s the first time the Bulldogs (13-8, 6-8 SEC) have come from behind at the half to win against an SEC opponent, and they did it against a veteran Tigers

I'll be the first to admit that I've been pretty critical of UGA Basketball. This was a good win over a quality team. Way to go Dawgs! Keep up the same intensity, play quality D, and just maybe these guys could make a run.
I blasted Mike Griffith last week on his article regarding our “improving” Dawgs because they had not beaten a top “50” team. Great game last night and we finally beat a ranked team.....eventhough Missouri’s loss will likely knock them out of the top 25. Matters not because we are at least fighting and competing. Go Dawgs!!!
As have I Zonadawg61. Very critical. Was refreshing to see them play with such energy on the defensive side of the ball last night. Good win!
I thought we were going to get run out of the building in the first 5 minutes of the second half but what a comeback by the Dawgs! The 3-point shooting was lighting it up and we got a lot of crucial rebounds. Garcia is the unsung hero of this team, when he is on the court, the whole team plays better. Wheeler still dribbles the ball into trouble too much and sometimes makes bad decisions on when to shoot or when to dish it off. But the step-back 3 he hit last night was huge. If he can cut down on the turnovers, that will keep us from getting in holes we have to climb out of. Luckily we were able to do it last night at the Steg. I hope they can keep this team together for more than just one season because they are showing a lot of progress. These guys could be a tough out come SEC Tournament time.
Now go beat the hated Gators!
I will give credit where credit is due; nice job by Crean and the B-ball Dawgs!
