18 grown men on a full rides riddled with 5 and 4 stars at the University of Georgia and at this point heading into Summer and then Fall camp we are still wondering who the hell is going to be the starting 5 that can take us to Atlanta and beyond this year?

Sorry to say but Kirby better figure out real quick who the hell his starting 5 will be Sept 4th... National Championship teams typically have a pretty dam good idea just not on paper who the hell their starting Off line will be heading into Fall camp.

I'm feeling we have several men on this team who where the king of the mnt in high school but since entering into college...well lets just say they have been busts!

Hey @Billy2131 competition is what spring is supposed to be all about. As far as busts go ... you probably ought to take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror.

Better said(18 players on scholarship,,,,High-profile recruits). Entering spring COMPETITION for the starting roles after losing 3 starters to NFL. Are we to know who will be starters without practices/ scrimmages? Is this predetermined? Have not completed spring drills, G-day game. Film not reviewed..."Kirby better figure out......" Do not tell him what he'd better do,,,,,,, We expect he will figure out what he needs to know, when the process is completed... I don't know that anyone is a bust, until their career is over...and if they contributed to the betterment of the team, they would not be considered a bust......Your TONE is the only thing that needs to be corrected. IMHO

Good grief Billy, Spring practice is Spring competition drills. Kirby ain’t about to proclaim starters for unproven talent at the college level. Most of these press conferences is coach talk anyway. Kirby could care less what someone outside of the system thinks, he is sending a message to his players that you have to get better everyday if you want to be the starter at UGA. Iron sharpens iron and it is roughly 5 months before we open the season. You can pretty much count on one thing, Kirby’s answer to his starting lineup won’t be clarified for the public until game day.

Have you heard of a thing called depth? Is it possible that UGA has 10 GREAT lineman and Kirby is trying to put the best 5, at the start of the game? If there is little separation, that's a good thing. That means when someone goes down, a fully capable lineman will fill his spot.
