Trey Hill became yet another Georgia Bulldog taken in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Bulldogs have had a very successful NFL draft to this point.

    It's nice to be drafted, but if you came out as a junior, you should aim to be a first rounder, or at least in the top 3 rounds. I really don't understand all these guys leaving college early to be a sixth rounder?

    In Hill's case, I'm betting the knee surgeries were a factor. You could argue it both ways - as a reason to leave early lest your career ends before it begins, and a reason to stay and build back up so as not to enter the draft as a big question mark. He opted for the cash on the table.

    But yeah, I agree overall with your point.
