Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

    men basketball is hemorrhaging players and Coach Taylor has em coming back for one more year ?

    They probably get more $ worth of benefits playing for UGA than $ earned playing in the WNBA.

    I was surprised how little they make...but then, attendance and marketing for that league isn't all that great. Many of them have to play second seasons in Europe to make more $.

    The NFL used to pay very little also. Most NFL players used to have second jobs in the off season.

    The only program in the SEC with less attrition in men's basketball than UGA right now is Kentucky (5). By attrition, I mean guys in portal and leaving program.

    A few others have 6, like UGA. Everyone else has more.

    This is a league-wide issue -- not sure how many recognize what having 1400 in the portal means to CBB
