You don't mention it explicitly, but Athens, GA is one of the coolest, most livable cities in the country (see sundry "short/desirable lists" that include it)... certainly among the most enjoyable 4 years of my life (and why I return to visit, as much as UGA itself).

When you factor in the populations for TX and FL being 3x and 2x bigger than GA, the amount of talent in-state is that much more impressive. Just FYI.
