Connor, I like your thinking...you're an optimist but also a realist.

    A+ my boy!!

#8 - depends on HOW we win OR lose... THAT will set the tone for the rest of the season.

Yeah, it's hard to see how one can say that almost half the team will need a few games to really gel AND that a week 1 loss to one of the top programs in the country will automatically raise doubts. If we lose but are at least competitive, there will still be cause for optimism.

the question is can and will the dawgs be able to play and hang with bama for four quarters.

can KS make halftime and in game adjustments. Will we keep the gas pedal to the floor or get conservative.

I know there is some uncertainty with the offensive-line, but there going up against one of the best DL in the country in practice. Whoever they decide to go with game 1, we "assuming" shouldn't have any performance issues in my opinion but there has to be continuity (as mentioned above) to develop trust and confidence. Hoping that Luke can have them ready to go.

Nice job Connor, but why would you mention Jermaine Johnson? He wasn’t even there last year.

It still remains a 2 game season - Clemson and the SECCG. It is quite possible to roll into Atlanta with a loss to UF as they have to play both Bama and LSU.

It would be great to be undefeated and win the SEC. Then it would be on to the CFP. The second best would be to lose to Clemson but be undefeated and win the SEC. The third best option would be best Clemson, be undefeated entering the SECCG but lose. This last option still gives a path to the CFP.

There are just so many different ways this can be a very special season. Still it all depends on the play of the quarterback. After Clemson and until the SECCG it is just scoring a lot of points. Based on talent level alone none of these games should become shoot outs. Once past the regular season they. Probably the scariest potential opponent is OU.
