Georgia needs wide receivers to deliver in pivotal 2021 season
Georgia has talent and experince in its wide receiver room. It now needs big-time production entering the 2021 season.

The Dawgs definitely have the most "complete" team that Smart has ever fielded. Let's take advantage of that. Spread out the ball to RBs coming out of the backfield and attack aggressively on offense. With a full Spring practice and the time JT has put in with his receivers, I'm expecting great results on offense...like a nght and day difference from last season or any season previously with our new air attack. And I think JT will find one or two breakout young stud receivers that will step up and challenge the more experienced guys. We've got plenty of weapons on offense, and the Dawgs should prove to be a real nightmare for most defensive coaches.
Absolutely agree with everything you said!! I just hope that Kirby lets Monken run the offense with no meddling.
Yep, why recruit them if you aren't going to throw it to them. This should also include the TE's. When is the last time UGA has produced a TE that Pro teams want to draft in a high position. I believe that was Ben Watson, and many drafts ago. The TE in most offenses is used as a receiver, at Georgia he is used as another lineman. Let Monken use all the weapons he has, spread the football around. We will see in the first game if in this season it's going to be a true "Air-Raid Offense", or just an empty slogan. If nothing else, Saban, Swinney, and Orgeron have all let their offensive coordinators pass and pass some more in their last three championship seasons, will Smart do the same.
Smart needs to let his OC do his thing. Don’t get conservative. Try to score every time. Whether you have more success passing or running do what you are having success with until they stop you. And always throw a little wrinkle in their just to keep the defense honest!!!
The line about the role played by wide receivers at Clemson, LSU, and UA seems to gross over the other elements that seem to have been missing, like quarterback play, and an offensive scheme to take advantage of the receivers.
To have an offense like the teams cited there are lots of elements that must come together. It will be interesting to see if this is the year.
