Georgia football winners and losers from Week 1 win over Clemson
Georgia football picked up a 10-3 win over Clemson on Saturday.

".... the worst performance of Dabo Swinney’s tenure at Georgia."
Conner, Dabo wears Orange, not red.
It is too early in the season to draw a lot of conclusions about any team.
Having said that there are some things that are apparent. Clemson is currently in a state of decline. This seems to have started when they played LSU. Since that game they have only won once (ND ACCCG) losing to teams that have equal or near equal talent- ND,OSU, and now UGA. Realistically they can very easily win all of their remaining games and win their conference. They lack in the offensive line, receivers and running backs. They are not a playoff team.
OSU should easily win the Big10. They have holes in their defense. Their defense is set up to win their conference . This of course makes perfect sense. The problem is no one has a pass offense that resembles anything like they will see in the postseason.
It is difficult to get a reading on OU. Their defense was/is supposed to be better. The first game says it is not. They should still win the conference. They will have a three game season.
As for the PAC, I have great confidence they will totally screw up.
After week #1, all the espn analysts listed their playoff teams. Bama, UGA, OU and OSU were on the majority of all the picks. Bama and UGA were on everyone’s list.
Not sure I see the missed field goal or weird bounce of Milton as an issue for the special teams coach. The focus of Muschamp is on punt coverage and kick protection. Both were fine on Saturday. In fact the punt coverage was one of biggest pluses. The only concern I have is seeing receivers on punt and kickoff coverage when we know the ranks are already thin.
I agree. But, they still need Jackson back there to field punts. Because of the experience. To keep from injuries mounting up, I would just have him fair catch everything, to keep from losing field position on bad bounces. But not to risk an injury for a 5 yard return. If he has a chance at 15 or more yards, then take off, just don't take an unnecessary hit. UGA needs him on the field as a reciever also.
My issue is seeing receivers on the coverage teams. Both Smith and Jacksaint were involved. Jacksaint got banged up on one.
Yeah, I fear that Clemson might lose another game and then be pushed way down and our marquee victory becomes less so. Oh well, they REALLY shouldn't lose the rest of the regular season so I guess we'll see.
How come Jordan Davis only got credited with 1 sack? Wasn't 1 of his tackles for loss, the qb? He sure didn't look like he as out of the pocket. Just saying.
GO DAWGS!!!!
