Lanning did a marvelous job...I doubt he will last at UGA after this season. He would make a terrific head coach. He deserved coach of the week. I would have placed UGA over UCLA and the Hoakies for top week games easily. Maybe it was because of only 3 pts put up by the UGA offense. Nakobe Dean placing fifth among the players of the week was definitely notable.
UGA needs to keep this kind of recognition routine. I believe they are that good.
@UGA66
You are spot on about Lanning. Dawgs are lucky to have him. He's going to make a great HC. Hope he holds out for the right place. As for Dean, he was compared to Roquan and those comparisons are showing up now that he's matured. He'll be another first rounder for sure. That's a great recruiting tool for UGA moving forward.
Does anyone else besides me still see Kirby next to Lanning on the sideline in the heat of the moment telling Lanning how he wants to play it??
Kirk threw a lil dig at Dawgs in that game. Mentioned something about "well you don't have a Justin Fields back there at QB"... I know he did it on purpose too.
Dean was great, but there were others that look fantastic. Let's give some love to Channing Tindall. He was fast moving all over the field, had good vision!
Interesting how about a week or so ago Kirk was viewed with distant because he said things we did not like. Now he seems to be pretty smart because we like what he is saying.
Kirk Herbstreet is a not so closet UGA hater.
And?
@JimWallace ???
Yes, sir.
