Bill, I always love your stuff but if Georgia goes 12-0 in the regular season, the Dogs were never in a position in which they’d have to beat Alabama twice.

A 12-0 Georgia team could lose to Alabama in the SECCG and still make the playoff.

Of course now the idea of Georgia knocking 1-loss Alabama out of the playoff by winning the SECCG is delicious.

    Go dogs.

Classof98 Of course, if Georgia wins the SEC they are in the playoff. But if that were Bama's only loss, they probably also would have been in the playoff, and we would have had to play them a second time. This way, that won't happen.

    Another look-forward-to-them-every-Sunday-morning winner, Bill.

Have you considered giving writing lessons to the rest of us?

    Go, Dawgs!

Thanks, Bill, great read as always! Specially emphasizing how we quieted the crowd with our play. So true!

    Go Dawgs!

    Great read Bill.

I love this quote of yours...."And Georgia did all this while its injury list looks like a top-ranked recruiting class." Ain't that the truth!

But, so glad that several youngsters have stepped up to the plate and delivered very well for the Dawgs in place of those injured. We definitely have been RESILIENT, and that may be the best word for the Dawgs so far this season.

Bill, don't you think the simian metaphor for now so recently thrashed CNS is maybe a bit harsh? Not really.

Bill, you are right on about Zeus...his improvement is most encouraging, and what perfect timing! Go Dawgs and keep on taking care of business!!

Auburn played as good as they could and never "gave up." But....their fans gave up and our #DAWGSONTOP made them give up! Kentucky will emphasize the silent count during practice this week but it is the least of their worries. Dan Jackson was our leading tackler and Ladd McKonkey was our leading receiver down on the Plains. SB IV...a 2 star!...LaddMac, not even in the top 1,000 recruits....Jackson, a walk-on. Enjoy the ride Bill! We're all right there with you!
