Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Hang in there Buddy, wishing you a successful procedure and a thorough rehab!
This will absolutely help you with any lower extremity pain, and it is a very successful solution to your stenosis!
Please follow your rehab orders and you will be pain free! Good Luck!
Congratulations on your Covid recovery!
Go DAWGS!
Hope your having a great time. Be thinking of you Dec. 7th. Wishing you the best!
Thanks to all of you.
I've been away from the board a couple of days, and again, thanks for the well wishes.
How'd you do with COVID? I always want to know others' experience with it, since the experiences from person to person are about as inconsistent as Mullen's coaching.
I’ll be there! First time going after being a die hard fan for a long time. Y’all have any advice for dawg related activities on Jekyll? Or where to look for parking in Jacksonville?
I can't believe I didn't notice the typo in the title till just now. Greetings all.
I ran a fever of 103.4 at it's peak and had a lot of weakness and joint pain. The slightly scary part was a persistent pain and pressure in the chest that got worse when I exerted myself. The neorosurgeon is having me get an ekg along with a stress test prior to surgery. I feel fine now though.
@BillyDawg1 are you at the historic hotel there? I’ve always wanted to stay there! We go to Ponte Vedra and St. Simons every year, but I would love to go to Jekyll at some point!
Not really, it's a Days Inn, but it's a very good one in a great location.
Billy best wishes with the surgery. I have stayed on St. Simon's for the week of the Cocktail party before , lost a few brain cells.. but had a heck of a time! Glad you made it safely through Covid.
Ditto, BD...
Oof, Glad to hear of your recovery, that sounds as about as bad as it can get before needing to go to the hospital. If it's of any comfort, I've read the chest pain can simply be linked to the same muscle weakness/achiness, since the heart's a muscle after all. I've had COVID twice, and he first time I had a bout of that. Never ran a fever strangely enough, mostly fatigue and dizziness. Good news is it was about half as intense the second time.
I did go to an emergency room due to the chest pains on the advice of the nurse who administered the covid test. The ER dr thought it was most likely caused by inflamation in the linings of the lungs. Since I'll be going under full anesthesia my neurosurgeon wants a stress test and ekg prior to the procedure just to make sure there is no heart issue.
