    I disagree somewhat that certain key players need to continue to step up. I believe that the most important and effective characteristic of this team has been a true team effort mentality—the obvious regard the players have for one another, the assignment buy-in, no stars attitude.

    Just have a feeling Zeus will be a much better second half rb . He runs very physical and seems to search for people to hit. I feel as the two pups are a little wounded now is cool and whites time to step up and have their best performances of their career.

    personally, I feel like AD Mitchell has had a pretty good first half of the season already considering he’s a true freshman.

    go dawgs!

    As good as he is if there is an overrated player on the roster it's Adam Anderson. His measurables are off the chart, but as I've posted before, he might not have the lateral agility to be an every down great player. On the other hand his ability to cover TEs is a big plus.

    I was high on AD Mitchell's potential before he played a down. I think it's a matter of when everything comes together.

    We will beat Florida and I have one tip for Kirby-I know he needs my football genius:-) Cover the darn backs for Florida on the flare routes please!! That is what killed us last year and if we do then I don't see Florida scoring 17 points against us. Final Score 42-17 Dawgs

    Interesting that Bennett isn't mentioned. Things are definitely looking very, very good for us right now - I hope that continues.

    @Kirkhiles,

    You are correct……the Mailman has certainly delivered and should have been mentioned in the “stock soaring” group. But, as always, Mike Griffith made sure he mentioned JT’s “9 for 9” stat and failed to mention Stetson’s eye popping stats like averaging +7.8 yards per carry vs -5 for JT. Or that Bennett has one of the top averages in yards per pass attempt and his QB rating is much higher than JT. I really like JT, but I hate the way Stetson’s accomplishments are ignored. Go Dawgs!!!

    Sorry @BillyDawg1, but the title for most overrated UGA player goes to Jack Podlesny. I know he's the kicker and he has a great leg and all of that, but to me, he just hasn't lived up to the hype brought on after his kick against Cincy in the Peach Bowl. The field goals that he's missed were all VERY makeable for a Power 5 college kicker (and particularly, him), and long before he finally missed an extra point, several of his PATs barely made it through the uprights. Whether his problem is physical, mental, or both, he has underperformed this year by his inconsistency. And the only reason we aren't talking more about it is because we haven't needed him to win a game yet, though Clemson may have come close. Go Dawgs!
