Connor, thanks for the great article. Man, you've really got to question the emotional intelligence of Dan Mullen.

Kirby’s comments are just another nail in the coffin for the Jacksonville site of the Ga/Fla game. You can surrender a recruiting weekend every two years.

I'm pretty sure that SEC officiating this year has declared that holding by offensive lines against Georgia will not be called regularly in an effort to try to make things fairer for opposing offenses. After all, if every hold was called, every game would be getting out of hand far earlier than this one did and TV ratings would be terrible. 😂😂😅

Don't count your chickens. Alabama set the record for recruiting points last year and usually end up #1 in recruiting most seasons. Should Alabama knock off UGA again this year maybe that extra recruiting home game might be the difference in signing a few more top recruits instead of a country club trip and cocktails? In fact, should UGA win the NC this season the talk of moving from JAX will be quieted. Should UGA be knocked out by Alabama the talk of moving the JAX game will rise to a roar.

Dan Mullen is the best thing that’s happened for Geor…..uh um the University of Florida in years. Gator fans should be very proud and pleased to have him. He is a great thinker as well as a head coach he has a master plan that he doesn’t want to reveal at this time. Fans at Georg…… er ahem Florida will continue to enjoy success as long as he’s there.😉

Gloating about the demise of Fla this year is not a good look. For the #1 team. What's the end game here? You want to create a two-tier Eastern Division? Georgia versus Six Vanderbilts?

How can you give Mullen credit for signing “top 15 classes”? The man is the HC at the flagship institution in the best recruiting state in the nation. Coach Richt signed top 10 classes and the majority of the time it lead to places like Orlando, Jacksonville, Nashville, and even Shreveport, before New Year’s Day. I agree, let’s keep that under our power “G” ball caps!

What we don’t want is for Mullen to get fired and Urban to come back to Gainesville! That would be the only way Cryer could exit his laughable efforts in the NFL.

Mullen is now playing the "what happens in Gainesville stays in Gainesville," game. You see, he recruits openly when he wins. but does not recruit when he loses...please let's keep this "coach" in Gainesville.

It's not just Mullen. A lot of people don't seem to grasp what a huge part of the equation for success recruiting is. They can be easy to spot; they'll say things like Georgia has been underachieving for the amount of talent that they have. Like it just falls out of the sky. That talking point has been a pet peeve of mine, so I'm glad to see this discussion of Mullen's take on the subject being put in the proper context, and through multiple outlets.

I think Coach Dan Mullen is the best thing to happen to the Gators in quite a while. Don't bother him with this recruiting non sense, he has his way of doing things and deserves as many chances as it takes to get his no-stars going! Relax coach, you know what you're doing.
