Having the #1 recruiting class on 11/12 is like having a lead in a game after the 1stQ. UGA is doing very well with some high ranking leans still out there. But, after setting a recruiting points record in 2020, Alabama is a very close 2nd (in points) with fewer recruits. So the reality is that Alabama will win the recruiting title again this year. The good news is that Saban has to be close to retiring. Need to get him this year with his least experienced team in a while. Losing Pickens, Kimber, Ratledge, TSmith, ASmith, AAnderson, Blaylock etc sure isn't helping.
