Nick Saban’s ability to adapt key to Alabama’s return to SEC Championship Game
ATHENS — Of the many traits that have made Nick Saban the most dominant coach of college football’s modern era, his ability to adapt might top the list and serve him best.

There is something about Mike and Bama? This is the UGA DawgNation football site.....go to Bama's site, Mike. No swill you can give us about Bama will change the outcome...UGA by double figures.
Dawgs 0-6 against Bama since 2008....Kirby 0-3 against his former boss since 2016.
Yes, Saban IS the Master....no doubt about it. Every head coach out there respects him and envies his success. No team takes a Saban team lightly.
But on Saturday it's time for the student to TEACH the Master....GO DAWGS!!
Hope the Dawgs win Saturday, but Saban makes a good point about veteran players providing that championship-level leadership to get teams through. Kirby talks about it in almost every public setting, how the veteran team leaders do a lot of the teaching and motivating of the younger players that he and the other coaches might have to normally do. It makes a difference and I believe it will make a difference for us on Saturday. Go Dawgs!
I know right? So nice for Mike to be so positive towards Alabama, even his title is positive! Wish our (DawgNation) beat writers wrote positive articles like this for our team. Pretty sure Mike would give Bama all A+ grades on their report card from their win over Auburn!
Tenacity is the key here Alabama is not perfect Saban is almost perfect, this is revenge payback Saturday. GO DAWGZ SIC'EM.😎
I did notice how Saban was able to “adapt” his conversations with the officials late in the game against Auburn. That may be his greatest ability. The officials were calling a very fair game for the first half and a good portion of the third quarter. Then, Saban worked his magic and during crunch time, holding that had been called all night was suddenly overlooked when Bama had the ball and two potential drive killing intentional grounding calls with no Bama eligible receiver in the same zip code were somehow missed.
Yes sir, Saban is a genius at adapting! I must say though, he was badly off his game against A&M!
I think Alabama's only chance is 75 - 80% passing game. Mostly short passes, with a few deep shots mixed in.
My next thought, how many hits can Young take? The Alabama game-plan against this defense is going to be interesting
Nice touch with "velcro", Mike.
I could say the same thing, adapt, about Smart, Lanning and the Dawg Defense. Severa teams were able to move the ball in the first half, especially second quarter. After the half-time sermonette, the Dawgs have uniformly come out and closed the door!
