No sarcasm. I’m just like You, wondering Why has JT stayed ?? And IF he’s truly bitter with Kirby you’d think he’d have “accidentally” leaked it to media. I think he just might come back next year based on what we fans DON’T know. We’ll see I guess.
“At the end of the day I think we have four really good quarterbacks in our system". Well that is fine and good and you play who you want because you are in charge but there is not a single good reason why no other QB saw the field against tech. None.
Even if you claimed Daniels was hurt or his doctor wouldn't release him, surely Beck and Vandagriff aren't also held back by their doctor. There is no reason at all why Bennett played whistle to whistle in a blowout. Even if he is the better quarterback, which I don't for a second believe is true.
Boring repeat story, but another feast for Kirby and Bennett detractors, I guess. 🤣
JT will play in the playoffs and he will shine. Hopefully, he will be in the talk for Heisman going into next year.
@Jaggeddawg Fake news. There's no "family doctor" situation or doghouse for JT. Kirby is evaluating the QBs every day.
I have also heard the rumor coming out of Athens that Kirby was ready to play JT, but the father and family doctor do not want JT to play. I also heard that the team is upset with JT. I did not make this up, and I don't care if you believe it , but it is out there maybe we'll learn more in the future.
