Dan Lanning nabs Auburn quarterback Bo Nix for Oregon Ducks
It turns out Georgia will have a familiar quarterback across the field, as well as head coach, when the Bulldogs open the 2022 season on Sept. 3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

But you can’t tell us who our qb will be go work for Oregon
This is a surprise. I was sure Oregon would be JTD home next season. UCLA has the QB from UCF and now this. I expect USC to get Caleb Williams from OK after their bowl game. If only we could put SBIV's brain in BNix's body.
MG does a good job and can really only report what he hears. I’m sure we have all seen how Kirby addresses the QB situation with absolutely zero definitive information. TBH, I was hoping that was the last we had seen of NIx but it looks like we will see him week 1. MG - when you see Kirby, please let him know we would really like a JTD start as our stocking gift.
I am 100% old school when it comes to coaches providing little or no information or misinformation in an effort to gain competitive advantage. Make the opposing coach prepare for every strategic possibility. That is just smart. CKS does not "owe" any explanation whatsoever to Dawgnation writers or UGA fans about inside information, decision making or the inner mechanisms regarding the running or direction of the team. The man is trying to win a championship. He is using every tool in his tool box. That being said there is something going on w/JTD that makes it highly unlikely (to me) that he see's the field again this season for UGA
What changes to the defense did Smart oversee prior to the Alabama game? Or was that an error and you meant Lanning oversaw changes?
Article Never states Nix will be the starting QB, only he's transferring to Oregon. So, the article didn't tell you who the QB is at Oregon either. Just an assumption Nix will be QB1, nobody knows until that time comes.
Hey Mike,
We didn’t lose to Bama because of the “pick-6”, but it seems to be all you remember about the game since it’s the only play you mention in EVERY article. I remember our offense scoring 24 points which in a normal game with great defensive play should have been more than enough to win.
Looking forward to the dawgs playing Nix again when he QBs for Oregon. I think he was sacked 4 times the last time we played him...let's go for more!
Nix is a wonderful athlete. His arm is adequate, but he is a great runner. I think he'll do very well in Oregon.
