Georgia coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs will stick with their plan to arrive in Miami on Sunday to begin preparations for the Orange Bowl College Football Playoff Semifinal.

JT has to make the trip. If something happens to Bennett...? Pickens is a go....good. Maybe JT will fly down later after the quarantine...but before the game.

Do we have any information about how JT is feeling, physically? Spoken to his family, friends, coaches? I understood he was "symptomatic" but that covers a lot of ground and, as a vaccinated young man, should be relatively mild. But would be good to get some information about JT himself, aside from the football focus.
Great for Pickens...Could our Writers for Dawg Nation, Investigate the rumors that J.T. Daniel's lack of playing time has been because he and his family consulted a non-UGA physician earlier in the year who said he should not be "cleared for play" after he was cleared for play by team doc's. Then coach KS was so aggravated by the situation, he let him sit after the private physician finally cleared him. Now there is animosity between all parties, and will most likely be in transfer portal after the final whistle of the season
JT lost his job at USC due to injury and didn’t win it back because the coaches determined he was not better than his replacement. Same thing at UGA. This is not rocket science.
Could our Dawg Nation writers please investigate the possibility of Kirby learning his lesson about handing out entitlement snaps Fields’ freshman year? That’s a more likely possibility
IF UGA holds up on offensive and defensive lines can Bennett beat Michigan? I think so. He does pretty well when the lines do their jobs. He needs time to make his throws accurately....especially perimeter throws. Bennett throws into crowds....needs to abandon that. Pickens might work well against MI. Michigan has a stout defense....so do not know how well Stetson will be able to scramble. Get it near George P. and he will likely grab it. MI will definitely rush the passer. Excellent outside rushers. Bennett really needs to step up his game. Very tight contest. Gamers have dropped it to 7 pts now for UGA...had reached 9.5.
No JT...no real back up either. JT may make game if he tests negative following quarantine. He would have to be flown to Miami? Do not know how that would work. That is still another big ....IF.
UGA is going to have to perform at its peak. Some pundits are now saying UGA will rematch Bama....not so fast. First things first. Talk to me about Bama AFTER UGA beats Michigan.
If Pickens has tested negative, that's good. And I do hope JT will clear protocol well ahead of he game. But I remain extremely worried about what's going to happen on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday after these players return after spending three days at home with family and friends. They may not ever get another chance to play in the CFP, but they will very likely get another opportunity to celebrate Christmas with their families. In the NFL -- which most of these guys would love to get to -- no one gets to "go home" to be with family for Christmas. And most college basketball players don't either.
Gee, that's funny. JT Daniels was UGA's #1 QB and on every pre-season Heisman watch when the season started, started every game before he was injured, and was undefeated. But you're suggesting he didn't play later, even though healthy, because "the coaches" determined he wasn't as good as his replacement. I'd say somebody's been out behind the barn smoking some homegrown. But hey, who wants a former National Player of the Year who still holds every passing record at Mater Dei, even though he graduated a full year early (see: Bryce Young, Matt Barkley, Matt Leinart, John Huarte), taking the field for the Dawgs. Got it.
There's a reason Brady didn't return to Michigan until 5 years ago. It's spelled F-A-N-S.
JT isn't as good as SB. I don't believe JT could throw 5 picks against BAMA in 2 games if he tried. Some folks want to see if SB can throw 2-3 more next time around, if we get past MIchigan. I'm not certain but I think somewhere I heard that if a team turns the ball over twice in a game, they lose 99% of the time. That's like a bad thing, right? 3rd time the charm, I suppose?

I hope our Defense ( yeah I Know off topic but every bit as important) is just on Fire to play this game !! I hope they are angry, bitter, chip on their shoulder, no make that a Boulder, anxious to prove the break down in their last game was a freak fluke and Won’t even vaguely happen again. I hope our RBs and O Line are ready to play their hearts out and have a Tremendous great game. Same for Special Teams. Now I imagine Stets will start. IF he does I hope he has a Fantastic great game. I’m pulling for Whichever Dawgs QB is under center in This game and hopefully next. If it’s JT I will be cheering my heart out for him. But if it’s Stets I’m sure not gonna secretly wish failure on him and I sure hope no other True Dawgs fan will either just to be right about a QB controversy. I hope All TRUE Dawgs fans will cheer on Whichever QB starts with all the zeal and enthusiasm they possibly can have !! Now these things said IF it’s Stets that gets the start and IF JT Daniels is available and IF Stets starts to flounder I sure hope that Kirby Smart will pull him out with enough time to give JT a chance to save the game. Same Thing if it’s JT that gets the start. I just want the Dawgs to WIN !! And I want them to advance to face Nick Saban and the Bama Tide and WIN this time !! I don’t care if they start Jordan Davis at QB if it results in a WIN !! I want to see the Dawgs as a TEAM execute as near to perfection as a college football team Can execute !! Both against Michigan and Bama and WIN, WIN !! The last game was a TEAM break down Coaches & Players !! I hope I Never see anything like that from a Dawgs team again !! It’s Time for Total Redemption !! Please, Please COVID stay away !! ****** At THIS juncture I doubt seriously that COVID would even put any of these young athletes in the hospital less alone kill them. Pretty much same for all the coaches except maybe the very oldest ones. ALL these folks are either very young and healthy or in Very good health in their 40’s and early 50’s. So in this scenario the only thing it could really cost in direct relation to the team is a forfeit. Man Please, Please don’t let Bama win it all by forfeit !! I want to see our Dawgs get another crack at them !! Go Dawgs !!
