Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Right Or just pull down to your chin like most do any way. Lol
I hear JT has cleared COVID protocol and is in Miami.
Indeed he has. He arrived here this afternoon and is all set to go.
So I’m watching Fox5 news earlier today and I see the Dawgs getting off the team bus and going into their hotel in Miami. Several players were taking pictures with fans standing right next to them and no mask on. Some of the fans had masks but pulled them down for the picture. Why are we not taking every precaution to avoid players not being able to play because they got Covid 2 days before the game from a fan! If I was a coach for Mich, Cincy or Bama I would be buying GA t-shirts and asking any of my fans who feel sick to go take pictures with bulldog players and breath all over them
I am SO glad there is not much being reported on this thread!
Prescient post, and did we even have one guy out? I was beyond thrilled that we weren't talking about Covid last night.
No I don't think we had anyone missing due to Covid. We did have a entire team who's hair was on fire , needing a victory to put it out! Good news is this morning no one's hair is in danger! Go Dawgs!
I think the Covid narrative is back at the top of my list for concerns. Miami's positive rate from the last few days is off the charts! With the short incubation time, right now is when the team really needs to make sure they didn't bring any Covid home. Hopefully we don't hear any bad Covid news over the next few days! Edit: hopefully Kirby doesn't hear any bad news on Covid wrt the team--we probably won't hear it anyway.
Let's hope the worst is behind us -- my family had it over Christmas -- I wasn't there because I traveled to Miami on Christmas Day.
Did I understand correctly that this game could be pushed back to the 14th if Covid is involved?
I believe you’re right. That would be a terrible way to lose the game and for us it would be a terrible way to win it. We would never get credit for it. Especially Since they beat us earlier. This game needs to be played!
Here is the guidance from the NCAA:
I can think of a lot of what-ifs and questions, but hopefully the game will be decided on the field, and hopefully on the 10th.
Travel time is the point where I'd expect to start getting Covid rumors from the two teams. Folks will take note of who is and isn't there. I hope we don't have one case on either team so this can be properly decided on the field, but I'll be amazed if we have 100% participation from both teams.
I agree and if there’s 0 cases then it’s time for them to tell the world how to avoid it. Lol. Fingers crossed nobody has it though
Key here is I think they are not testing anyone who doesn't have obvious symptoms. Most of the symptoms for vaccinated people are flu like, how many football players over the years have played with the flu? Point here is unless someone is truly sick they won't get tested. Last year that would not be the case.
