I live in Mobile and Bama fans are giddy with all the talent we are losing off this “generational” defense.
What they don’t realize is that this “generational “ D had zero players on the AP preseason all American first or second teams. The only first teamer was Camarda and second teamer Salyer. Nobody was predicting this D being anything better than slightly above average, much less generational
I am thrilled with the national dialogue about all that UGA is losing on defense. History is about to repeat itself.
I will not be surprised at all when next year’s D is yet another “generational” defense The national and local media, for that matter, have yet to comprehend the depth of the Dawgs and Kirby’s ability to manage a roster and the staff’s ability to develop talent.
