ATHENS — Georgia safety Christopher Smith, the hero of Georgia’s season-opening 10-3 win over Clemson and a proven veteran leader, has announced he’ll return for another season with the Bulldogs.

Great news on Chris Smith….we really need him next year. Does anyone know the status of Tykee? I think he’s completed 3 seasons (2 at WVU and 1 injured with UGA) so he’s draft eligible. The article says he’s returning, but I had not heard that before now. He was an All American at West Virginia and would be huge for us next season. Go Dawgs and Go Chris….and Tykee too!!!
Good news! 👍
Great news! His leadership, and experience will be a tremendous help with the new recruits arriving, as well as the veteran players..GoDAWGS!
Smart move, stay and try to get a better NFL grade...
Start the year off with another pick 6.
This young man is a DGD. So glad he’s coming back.
Agree BubbaBill - Tykee will be a huge piece of the D next year.
That's great news. Smith will be a leader in the secondary, and he will benefit from another year.
Heck, yes! Awesome news! Thank you, and let's go get another, Mr. Smith!
GO DAWGS!
Let's run it back!!!
Huge news right here. He is a key piece in helping the Dawgs make another run. Alabama was young this year but had just enough key pieces to make another title run. They didn't look very good the first half of the season but survived until some of that younger talent evolved. Christopher Smith is going to be one of the best DB;s in college football next year.
