Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

Cold Weather
So, do you think this is from hell freezing over since we finally got the Natty? ❄️
It's freezing in BHM this morning and I have to head to Knoxville for a volleyball tournament where apparently it may hit single digits. I will be warm however in my UGA gear.
Comments
Since it snowed here I'm over winter. It can be spring now.
I was just talking to one of my Fraternity brothers in Villa Rica who said the same thing.
Wear it proud and loud, sir!
Go Dawgs!
nah it's due to stratospheric warming that is destabilizing the arctic vortex causing it to be displaced and move further south bringing cold air and lower temperatures.
I prefer to think "Hell is Freezing Over." From what I've been told that's where I'm eventually going to end up, and as I always say " One can dress for the cold but when it gets hot its hard to get more naked."
I keep waiting for a blizzard to make me forget March 1993
I love it YaleDawg. We couldn’t see things more differently which I actually think is awesome.
But we can both celebrate that our team won the freakin National Championship…..
that **** was wild
we all cried
I remember well, worked in Nashville, Tn that week. Left Nashville approx 6 pm Friday I 24 already had snow sticking. Stopped in Dalton, Ga around midnight hard to tell if in highway or not, just following tire track in front of you. Made in home to Morrow, Ga approx 3 am.
Was driving 1987 Chevy celebrity, put over 300,000 miles on that car.
I don't like the cold. Bring on April and Spring practice already.
Username checks out
Sorry but this GA weather is not bad compared to home. Was 12 this morning but felt like -4 there. Think this next week is supposed to be the coldest of the year so far for us but I'm stuck in GA until I test negative for COVID.
I was in Asheville NC and fortunately had 4 wheel drive. 32" on my deck and no power for almost a week. Went through a cord of wood and cleaned out the freezer. Moved back to ATL shortly after.
My dad sold Chevys and he drove a Celebrity as a demonstrator car (I doubt car salesmen know what that is nowadays) and that thing saved us during one storm in the early 80s. My mom would have been stuck at work had Dad had a rear wheel drive car.
I remember driving to Raleigh in 2009 on a snowy night from ATL in our Odyssey. That was insane. We thought we could outrun it, and almost did! We got to Greenville, and it really started coming down...and got colder.
It was all snow, but I took it slow. We left ATL about 630 that night, and didn't get into Raleigh until about 4 am, I think.
I NEVER want to do that again! Nothing like seeing an 18 wheel lumber truck blow by you, and then about 10 minutes later you pass him, as he's jackknifed into the wall. Thankfully, he was okay and didn't hit another car...
