I love Asheville, but the Bohemians have really messed that place up.
I'd love to buy a condo on Sugar Mountain, but the winters give me second thoughts.
My former boss owned a condo on top of Sugar Mountain. He didn't really like going so he let his employees use the condo. Coldest place I've ever been on July 4th. We almost froze to death standing on the balcony watching fireworks from Hawks Nest.
Cold! It’s so cold/wet in Anderson, SC that I’ve only played golf twice this month. In good weather, our senior group plays every M-W-F. I’m ready for Spring.
High temperature: 33
Low temperature: 18
My wife and I love it up there! We took our daughters up there back in June...our first day there seeing Blowing Rock, it was 80 (thought I was gonna die!). After that day, we didn't see the 70s again til we got back to Georgia.
I'd love to see fireworks over the mountains!
I'd upvote it, but I don't like cold weather either! I like it just enough to keep the bug and varmint population down.
It was beautiful. The condo was on the 8th floor. We got there around 2pm and it was 62 degrees and the wind would nearly knock you down.
Oh. And it's snowing again.
I had to upvote it because his fingers were probably too cold to type much else.
Loved the effort @AndersonDawg !
9 degrees, high of 26 as our son leaves for weekend National Guard field exercises.
Also we have an indoor and an outdoor cat so that the outdoor cat does not bully (or worse) the indoor cat. Well nowadays you have to have both in more and if you know, cat juggling gets old….
Cold weather? Yeah. Not a fan. 😐😐😐
If I were in charge here in the Atlanta area, we would skip July and August and winter would last for three days, during which it would snow every day. Spring and fall are the best of seasons. Spring for the show nature puts on, fall for Georgia football and the mild weather. 😎
There’s some upside to a 23-degree morning. Hit Publix early and I was the only one not wearing an apron and name tag.
Sounds like here. We have about four 3 day late fall/winter day periods between NYE and the end of February. We are having one right now lol. Got down to 39⁰ last night. Not bad though.
I think it's cold everywhere!
I'm in NH and it was not this cold last year.
Up until this week, we only had 2 days above freezing all last month. So many days in the negative, it hurts to count. It was just horrible!
Now we're back to warmer weather, this week and I hope it stays that way
