- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I don't know if ward would bewilling to put in the leg work necessary to be a good recruiter from a time stand point, but no one would have more flash than Hines Ward showing up at your door.
So Connor, Monken is staying put for sure?
I agree. Recruiting is a sales position and nothing sells better than name and face recognition. Experience is irrelevant in that regard. 2 of the best insurance salesmen I ever knew, had zero experience when they were hired.
We know, he knows the position and how to teach it. He would make a great addition to the UGA coaching staff.
Most HS recruits were 4-6 years old when Hines retired. I wonder if those kids are in awe of how great he was like we are.
Good question.
He just needs to show up on recruiting trips wearing his two Super Bowl rings and carrying his Super Bowl MVP trophy.
Ward enjoyed a successful career in Pittsburgh? Understatement of the year so far.
Hines has the passion, that is for sure. If he is willing to recruit hard, then the no-brainer answer is Hines Ward. He would draw the attention of every top wide receiver in the nation day one. Regardless of the ages of todays players. Come on. That is like saying younger players would not care about Michael Irvin or somebody else in the HOF and with Super Bowl RINGS.
I would not hold my breath. The NFL coaching carousel is just getting started and anything can happen. Plus CKS moved Buster Faulkner to a recruiter status, not Cochran. So he may want to let some recruits meet a possible QB coach or Off. Coord.
