In Geno Auriemma's Master Class, he talks about how he doesn't mind getting beat, but he hates losing. He goes on to define getting beat as being prepared for a game but falling short to another prepared team who just happened to be better on that day. Losing, on the other hand, is being ill-prepared and getting waxed by your opponent. We've lost a lot of games this year, but today was different. Today we got beat by a very good Auburn team who happened to make one more play than we did. I don't believe in moral victories, but today the Dawgs looked rather good and like they belonged. Perhaps its a loss like today's that will propel us forward. Good job, fellas.

YES!!! Finally, toughness and grit. Love it. Now..... yep, it's still the little things, guys who are not in their "spot" taking shots they are not supposed to take, one little thing here or there, but d**n, it's been a while since I could jump up from a chair in the final minutes of a UGA BB game against a top-ten opponent and yell at the ceiling. THANKS Dawgs! Keep barking!!

Vince Lombardi said that he didn't want his team to get beaten. If they didn't win, it would be because they were outscored. Same idea.
