“We just didn’t have a complete game.”

Starting to feel sorry for Coach Crean. He's run out of excuses. Seems like a good dude but this is NOT working. It's always an after-the-fact excuse parade. And it's always something fundamental, something "they" didn't do or didn't do correctly. As if he's not in control of his team's performance on the court. OK, maybe he isn't.

    Time to move on.

Georgia basketball teams have been notorious for excessive turnovers back all the way to Mark Fox. But at least they won a few games. This team is a new low. I think Crean is a positive, can-do guy, but he's had his chance and the results are bad. Other than ant man, not much to show for it (and even then.) If he was able to attract elite recruits other than one or two, it would have happened by now. And the mass exodus before this season was odd for supposedly a master motivator. Something isn't right. UGA needs to put a ton of resources behind the next guy and get serious about basketball, otherwise more of the same. Need a coach who Atlanta area guys want to play for. Do that and it's tourney time every year. Duke and NC are down. What better time to capitalize? SEC is building and UGA can only sweep the floor in the basement.

Would you have a problem with Jerry Stackhouse? I believe he would elevate our talent level and having made Vandy competitive, why would he not excel here?

I do believe Josh Brooks, UGA AD, will step in soon. It is down-right embarrassing. Maybe he already has. This may be Crean's last season. Nice guy but loop tapes his excuses. The two top Dawgs are injured, I will give him that. ONE SEC win..one? Unacceptable. Weakens UGA overall success image. Track team used to be like this until Matthew Boling arrived....then UGA captured the internet and NCAA T&F news. World-class sprinter from his teens.
