Certainly no one here blames him - college coaching is a never-ending grueling task. I mean, you do the impossible and win it all and then the next day you had better be recruiting. You have plenty of time after the kids grow up to coach - Saban is 70 and still not backing down. Ages 10 and 14 are critical ages and ones you don't want to miss.
My suspicion would be, though, that he begins to get bored and eventually finds something with a better balance - maybe as a lower paid "consultant" for UGA to where he still can be involved.

You and I are the same age. I echo your sentiments. There is no way to get across the point strongly enough how fast life flys by. If you've made enough money to live comforably the rest of your life then pursue your passions you enjoy(as you stated, morally and so forth). If that is golf, or fishing,or traveling, whatever pleases you, by all means do it!
I don't think at the end of their lives anyone is going to say they wish they had spent more time at the office. and not at home with the family.
