Develop players at an elite level - Check. Beat Bama - Check. National Championship - Check. Dominate NFL Combine - Check. The NFL draft will be another great day for Georgia.

The anybody but Kirby/Georgia crowd are running out of talking points...

Great points Connor! Georgia has reached a high standard and it will continue to build from that. I see BAMA slipping a bit in the future with Georgia continuing to ascend and reach new heights - Saban will not be at BAMA forever and at some point, it will ring true to Ol'Nick that Kirby isn't going anywhere and he has a youthful energy that a 70 yr old just can't match. It will now seem as though Saban has to go through Kirby to reach a natty instead of the other way around. It is something all old coaches have to deal with - that this is a game for the young. Soon, there will be calls from BAMA fans to "bring Kirby back home" and give him the HC job there once Saban retires. What they don't understand is that Kirby is already home - his time at BAMA was a stepping stone to something greater - the job at Georgia. GO DAWGS!

Combine results, and a National Championship trophy may make future recruits decisions easier.. But Kirby will still continue recruiting at a high level, same as before. He may even pursue elite talent even harder than previous years, to keep UGA as top program on a yearly basis.

This story is capsulized by Coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe Tweet: "23’s when you step foot on campus you better come correct ‼️" The bar is high at UGA. Coach Smart set it and will keep it there. Talent is developed....recruits better come prepared to be fully developed for the next level...and the league.

Saw where Travon could move into the top 10 with his Combine spectacle. Detroit considering him at #2. pick.

Wishful thinking by Bama fans. CKS is from GA. CKS is from UGA (as is his wife) . And most of all, the UGA job is a better job than the Bama job. There is way more high school football talent in GA than in AL. And no other home state SEC team (AU) to compete with. GA now at the same level with CA, TX and FL in producing HS talent. The UGA program , under CKS, has passed other programs like Clemson, OSU and Ok and is now completely on the same level as AL. Same as AL with the clock ticking down on Saban. No reason for CKS to ever leave UGA.
