    Man, I wish Jim Cheney had gone on to become Alabama's offensive coordinator. That way, it'd be a sure bet that GA would beat Bama!

    Clearly a move by GT to attempt to pump some life into Tech's recruiting. Chaney has a lot of contacts and some name recognition around the southeast. GT's recruiting flat lined under CPJ and has barely been on life support since. Unfortunately for Tech, recruiting around the SE has changed dramatically since Tech was last relevant as a football program. Tech has been completely left behind as a program. Tech's only hope, with their campus and facilities limitations, is to gradually build a winning program by recruiting and developing overachieving 3* players from the abundant HS football talent in the SE.
