My concern is his health. He gets banged up pretty easily, especially around his feet. He has got to stay healthy and play more. I admit, he is a juggernaut on the field when healthy. Here is hoping he is healed by fall?

Right attitude, it's hard to be a star on a team of aspiring stars has the tools to be a star though. Sic'em.😎

Got to block too if you want to be a TE. Look at Gronk and Kittle, for examples. Total packages. If you are a TE and do not at least block average, you are not a good TE but a one dimensional one whose liability will probably negate the assets at some point. Great attitude though and great recognizing that early on for Washington. It would be a shame to see all that potential not be all it could be. And with all the competition at that position at UGA right now, they better block well to see the field much.

He will get his opportunities if he can get in shape and stay healthy. The sky is the limit. Gotta get lean, strong and healthy. He has the skills. Having 4 guys that can play TE might benefit all of them by conserving their game reps. and minimizing the chance of injury. With the impact BBowers had last year you had to get him the ball. Especially with the wr injuries last season. DWash may have gotten less reception opportunities because CKS wanted him in the line up for the late season money games.

No one in their right mind is going to try to tackle this man in his upper body, that makes his feet vulnerable. Protect those ankles!

@JimDawg85 Yes, I told Darnell he's known as a great blocker, and I prefaced my questions acknowledging his great talent, as it has obviously been a tough situation for him. The questions were in line with his situation, and as the father of two kids who is trying to make the professional ranks, Darnell was ready to handle those question --- Kirby approves all the interviews.

That was a very encouraging interview. Had heard down here in Central Florida that the bad guys are actively contacting Darnell and players on other teams who are not even in the portal (through kids on the team). Really excited to see Darnell explain his commitment to his development, in his own words.

I can’t make the G Day game. But I wish that some of you that Do make the game would make signs saying Big “0” we Love You !! Or something along those lines. I bet if you polled Dawg Nation 99% of Dawgs fans really Do love Darnell Washington !! And those of y’all that go make some signs for our other injured Dawgs. SHOW them you Love them !! ***Im assuming such signs would be allowed ?? I sure hope so. Darnell has been so dedicated to this team as well as other Dawgs currently injured. He and they are DGD’s to the fullest !! Just say NO to the very thought of transfer !! Go Dawgs !!

Asking tough questions is a big part of Mike Griffith’s job. If he doesn’t ask tough questions he’s not being true to his profession. As a Dawgs fan I want the Truth, whether it’s good, bad, or in between news. We all have our opinions, I have mine. I think Mike as well as all the other Dawg Nation reporters does a great job !! Does that mean I’m obligated to agree with him or the other reporters every single line of every single report they make ? Uh Nooo it sure doesn’t. But I think Mike and the rest of the guys do a pretty good job of seeking out and accurately reporting information they obtain. I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like to Try to feed an information hungry fan base like Dawg Nation !! Rough dawg gone job !! As we Stay hungry All the time !! And let’s face it every single day is not an action packed adventure in Dawgs sports, yet Mike and these guys strive to keep things fresh, informative, and yes, entertaining as well. Their job stress wise strikes me as being like a stand up comedian facing a very, very hard audience !! I Love All Dawg Nation and it’s fans !! We are a vast world wide Family as far as I’m concerned. But I sure wouldn’t want the job of trying to keep the Big Dawg Nation Dawg fed on fresh, accurate, entertaining information !! No, no wouldn’t want that job !! Thank You Mike and All the Dawg Nation staff !! Go Dawgs !!
