Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

A little gerrymandering has already solved that problem. Republicans redrew district lines in Athens and I think she lost her spot. She proved to be less progressive and more progressively racist.
I'll just leave this here : Personal Information: Melissa Link has lived in Athens since 1993 and has resided in five different neighborhoods throughout District 3. She was born in southeast Washington, DC, grew up in Prince George's County, MD and attended Frederick Douglass High. Summer vacations were spent on her great-grandfather's property in rural western Massachusetts, once a stop on the Underground Railroad. A deep connection to this 18th century farmhouse and wooded acreage fostered her passion for the environment & historic preservation and helped to develop her awareness of social justice issues.
She should provide proof or resign. That’s defamation at its greatest and accusing her employer of a grand cover up of heinous crimes. An elected official should not be able to do that without repercussions. Stand by your statements by showing proof. If you are not willing or able she must resign immediately from UGa and as commissioner. I hope UGa attorneys are revving up their engines.
What she said was dumb and should apologize for it, but some of y'all are being a bit hysterical. Probably because the OP and Gaines took some creative liberties in what was said.

Wow did my post get deleted
No
Moved to off topic nothing deleted
Something tells me I better leave this thread all the way alone. 😎😎😎
Why start now?
Keep it to the subject/topic and all good.
That Woman has probably been taught that sort of thing since she was a little girl and it's so ingrained that she's standing by what she said. Sad.
Well there you have it. Explains everything.
No way she should be allowed to talk about UGA students that way and still have a job at UGA.
Cancel culture is crazy
Her Facebook page is a scary place.
