Georgia wide receiver Kearis Jackson continues to hint at strong 2022 season
Moments after leading Georgia in receiving yards in the team’s spring game, wide receiver Kearis Jackson was a little annoyed.

If Kearis Jackson can stay healthy, 2022 will be a breakout season for him. This dude has all the skillsets. The only limiting factor was the injury bug.
That catch shown in the highlight v. UF was one of the great throw and catch plays made by UGA all year!
I have said it before......No one on the offensive side of the ball plays with more heart or was more of a team first player (maybe George Pickens but he's gone) than K. Jackson. Great example was his returning punts even though he was coming off a leg injury which slowed his receiving yards. This young man will go and get the ball with the best of them .....just a true pleasure to watch! DGD!
So glad he is back for one more year to add stability and experience to our WR corps! I know Stet is glad!!!

Wow…..I didn’t realize we had 5 key wide receivers out most of last season. We were also missing Darnell Washington for many games and Arik Gilbert didn’t play. Interesting facts to throw back at Bama fans when they start their whining about losing key receivers at the end of the season. Go Dawgs!!!
KJackson comes off as the quickest and most elusive wr on the UGA roster. And because of that his return skills are the best on the team. Critical to stay healthy this year. UGA receiving corp is solid. But a healthy KJackson performing at a peak level makes the WR corp elite and UGA National Championship contenders.
Big difference between losing "pretty good but not great" WRs against the procession of mostly unranked teams that UGA played in the regular season and losing a pair of 1st round draft picks in the postseason where you had to play 2 games against a historically great defense and even a mid-major team with several draft picks in their secondary. Had UGA lost their only guy as good as Williamson and Metchie - Brock Bowers - in the title game they would have had no chance to win a contest that they barely won WITH HIM.
The weird thing about UGA season is that their 4 best pass catchers - Bowers, Jackson, Blaylock, Gilbert - would in an ideal situation line up in slot. The X and Y guys - Mitchell, McConkey, Rosemy-Jacksaint, Smith - aren't as talented. Before you question my inclusion of Bowers and Gilbert, UGA is the rare program that still wants to dominate the LOS. So they are going to want to play Washington in the TE spot as much as possible. Who knows how many more big plays Cook would have had last season had Washington been able to play more, allowing UGA to call outside runs to his side. Ordinarily that would see All-American candidate Bowers and 5 star recruit Gilbert in the slot where the receiving TE plays in two TE formations. But Jackson and Blaylock would be most productive there too. Putting either of them at X in particular, where the 6'4" Mitchell plays, would be rough. But putting them on the other side where you want Arian Smith's 4.3 speed to stretch the field wouldn't work either.
It is a curious problem to have and will be very interested in watching how Monken solves it.
