The Dawgs were throughly hosed by the refs in 2017. At least a half dozen bad calls or bad no calls prevented them from soundly defeating bama in regulation.
Absolutely agree. Yes, I know that there are usually bad calls, but the absolutely blatant non-holding calls alone would have changed the outcome.
The biggest was the non-holding call against the Alabama OLman who held Roquan BIG TIME and allowed Tua to get away on a 2nd or 3rd and long to get a first down for a TD midway through the 3rd quarter.
If they call that, it would have been game over. Those non holding calls caused our D to stay on the field and get gased.
Oh, and never mind the non call of unsportsmanlike conduct on the player who shoved Fromm's helmet to the turf RIGHT IN FRONT of a ref.
UGA was good in Indy because we beat BOTH Alabama AND the refs.
By the way, how does your comment get 3 (THREE!) downvotes on Dawgnation. I could understand if it was TideNation.
