Sigh. OK, I hope he is never injured and has a great NFL career, but I am officially and specifically rooting against him this season.
F him.
GOD bless you and, in your career, except when playing our beloved Dawgz. Go Dawgz Sic'em beat bama!😎
Good Lord, can we just lay the JB thing to rest, it's really getting old.
“We all want the best for each other.”
LOL...No you don't. It's all about you. This kid (yes, kid) is the poster child for prima-donnas. It has always been about him. That's why he's transferred around so much. I've always heard that if you want to see what kind of teammate a player is, watch how many seek him out to celebrate after a touchdown. Enough Said.
I'm honestly not trying to belittle a kid...I'm just frustrated with all the dancing. Call it what it is.
Yeah, I kinda agree with this.....the young man made his decision and I really don't care why he left. Wish him well.
But, how about we concentrate on the WRs that DID NOT transfer, who decided to stay with the team and are giving their all on the practice field. I assure you that Coach Kirby has not ONCE thought about Burton since he left.
I think we will be just fine.
Go Dawgs!
I won’t hate on the young man. I wish he’d stayed and helped us win another natty, and it’s puzzling as to why he’d won’t to leave, but he has to do what he feels is best for him. I wish him the very best with his football career, unless he’s playing my Dawgs. Dawgs have plenty of dangerous weapons to throw the ball to. We’ll be just fine, thank you!
GO DAWGS!
We have some great WR targets of our own this coming season, and I am excited to see them grow - Also, our TEs don't take a back seat to anyone. I like where we are at, and I am sure we will play Bama down the road at some point and all will be proven on the field. GO DAWGS!
Me, too, Chopper! I'm too excited for our team to worry about him.
Is it true that Alabama is having WR open tryouts???
I wonder if Mike G will write a column about that...
As others have said, good luck to Jermaine, but I don't see the Dawgs missing a beat with our elite TEs and other receivers. And hoping Blaylock will step into a more important role this season with his WR talents...assuming the guy stays healthy. He could easily be as good as Burton.
Burton is an opportunist....no school loyalty, just go where you will be the big star and make some noise for the NFL scouts. He's gone...move on.
Yawn. Diva. Next.
Hey! Here's an idea! How about letting go of the burton feller? He left. Caio.
Dom Blaylock is one kid that I'm really rooting for this year!
Too many others to mention, but he is one I'm hoping has a good year!
I want ALL of our players to do well...as much for their future as for the team.
Kenny McIntosh just went gangbusters last year after he fumbled at Vanderbilt.
When I groaned as he fumbled, my wife thought I was groaning against McIntosh.
"Au contraire, my dear, I just want him to do well!"
Best wishes to him as long as it’s not against our Dawgs. Now this “Hey Jermaine remember how hard the Defense guys @ UGA hit you only in Practice” ? Well the next time you see them it won’t be practice, all leashes will be released !! Go Dawgs !!!
