Perhaps the selections have more to do with the players who were selected than the ones who were not.
Stets seems to thrive on being perceived as being slighted and feeling like he has something to prove. Blow up Lanning’s D and Stets being named captain will take care of itself.

I wouldn't read too much into the "Captain" thing. You want to give 1 to a lineman and 1 to a back, on both sides of the ball, in the first game of the season. If I were Bennett, I'd ask em to make McIntosh a Captain, to give him confidence from the start. That would exhibit good Senior leadership, but, as a fan, you'd never know about it.
Based on the Offensive skill player selected....I think the "College Football World", is about to be introduced to a "new and improved", Kenny McIntosh. It wouldn't surprise me one bit, if he had a "100 yd rushing/100 yd receiving" game.
