It was time to consider that possibility about half way through the first quarter of the Oregon game.

We'll know a whole lot more in January. Until somebody punches us in the mouth we're just guessing, but can anyone punch us in the mouth?

Questions like that worry anyone who thinks about Rat Poison.

    Go, Dawgs!

The offense is much more versatile, while the defense gets its legs under them. Beck is showing to be a very capable #2 and love the experience he has gotten during the first three games.

Stop using the words Rat Poison, as that was from Saban and don't need anything from him. I would rather we say Don't believe the Noise or Hype!!

Beck as good or better that the mailman. But Stets knows how to win, and that's the name of the game.

Thanks BA! This team seems to be unbeatable. My scar tissue acquired after over 65 years as a Dawg fan makes me wary of all the hype, but still these guys are really, really good. And yes, they look better than last year’s national championship team at this point of the season. If the D improves…. wow!

"Beck as good or better than the mailman."

Thank you for your input, Mrs Beck. Let's all send emails to alert Smart and Monken lol...

Is this team better than last years team? Who knows? Not yet? Does it have a chance to be? Doesn't matter. What matters is being better than everybody's this year's team.

On the plus side. Deeper/healthier WR's. More matured, better prepared QB with fewer "boneheaded" (CKS) plays. Potentially deeper S IF TSmith back and Starks is who we think he is. Better(?) deeper OG's. TE, as long as DWash and BB are healthy.

On the negative side (so far w/time to get better). Youth. Punter. not even close to last yr. Run game. Running lanes have been sparse. Missing the power running of ZWhite. LB's Not yet. DL/pass rush. Really any question? CB experience. Coaching? No DLanning. New, less experienced coaches.

Everyone expects UGA to develop throughout the season. But anointing them "better than last year" after 3 games against 1 decent team is premature.

Oh and "rat poison" is the term. Doesn't matter who coined it. CKS has his work cut out for him to keep the young players from eating up the poison and believing the hype. UGA will have to beat 2-3 very good teams before the season is over.

    Question for the cooldown:

Do you think any running back is running better than Deijun Edwards? Like you’ve expressed, when we run, we’re not explosive or extremely affective.. but when our 3rd and 4th string(Robinson) come in there seems to be some extra juice there. Edwards is the only back so far that gives me that Chubb/Michel 2017 feeling that they could break a tackle and take it for 40
