Great attitude by Nolan. Solid leader. Would the first team have kept SC out of the end zone is the question?

The defense will get better IMO , which is sort of scary if you think about it.

Excellent Read !! Just repeating something that’s been said here numerous times by numerous Dawgs fans. And that is if you want to Be a Champion you must Practice like a Champion. Yes there’s a definite risk of injury when they “ practice harder than the real game”. But in many ways it might well cut down the number of Real game injuries. Practicing that hard builds Endurance and sharpens Execution. Those two things alone might well reduce real game injuries. But it also builds Confidence. So like all Dawgs fans I really hate to see one of our players injured in practice, especially the season ending type. But I get and appreciate the Why of practicing so hard. And it leaves a legacy of Excellence for the next years version of the Dawgs. Some guys come to UGA and just can’t take that extreme level of work. So they punch the transfer button. But they might well have aced themselves out of being on a Championship team by doing so. Go Dawgs !!

YES, the 1's would have prevented the late score....not to mention rack up several sacks on Doty....but the point Nolan made so well is that without those reps and sometimes failures the 2's, 3's and 4's will never learn what it takes to be be elite, to be a 1. Believe me, that late touchdown will be a motivator like nothing else!
