Serious question. With everything equal - same offensive scheme, same supporting cast, same schedule - who puts up better numbers?

    Kyle Pitts

    Brock Bowers

Funny thing: both were 4 star recruits who were 6'4" and 220 to 225 lbs in high school. (Pitts was a tad bit bigger, Bowers was a tad bit higher rated). Pitts merely got bigger - grew 2 inches and added 20+ lbs by his senior season - though Bowers is only 20 and could still get bigger/taller.

Thought about this one a bit, and I think it's a push as receivers. If you add the rushes, I think it tips strongly toward Bowers.

That said, I think Pitts or Tony Gonzalez are the better comparisons for Brock rather than Gronkowski, as many are saying. Nonetheless, first class players all!

I LOVE Our Dawgs !! BUT the Kent St. should and certainly hope so, serve as a very powerful antidote to Rat Poison !!! Our Dawgs have Allot of work to do to continue their quest for another Natty !! So I hope they will let the sloppy play serve as a warning, Learn from it, put that game in the books, and Work, Work, Work !! Go Dawgs !! P.S. Brock Bowers is Already a Beast !! And will only get better and better !! Best way for the Dawgs to help disinfect from this sloppy game is go on the road to Mizzou and utterly destroy them !! That might not be as easy as my saying it as it will be verses a hostile crowd at night !! So Dawgs must definitely go in focused, and all business, execute, and get it done !!

Yep, it's absolutely the best thing that could happen. We got a "reality check" of things we need to work on without costing us a win and ESPECIALLY not an SEC loss which would've been really bad.

We are now into the meat of our schedule now and any sloppiness could be costly.

I will say, though, that I think we played better than we did against Samford. I think Kent State just played their "hearts out" and made it a close game.

I didn't watch any other game, but just looking at the scores and it seems some other teams struggled with a big loss for #6 Oklahoma that could easily keep them out of the playoffs, Michigan by only 7 against unranked Maryland, Clemson needed OT to win against Wake Forest, 3 pt win for USC vs unranked and 8 pt win for Kentucky against Northern Ill.
