How stinking lucky is that narcissistic team to the west? Pass interference should have been called on the last play too.

Yep. Sure should have the Defender was draped all over him like a cheap suit. Game can’t end on a penalty correct ? So your exactly right. I will say though that wasn’t exactly a brilliant play call on that last play TAMU. But if he’d have caught it and scored I guess it would have been. 😀

Alabama DB's are very grabby and they get away with it most of the time. They are also coached to incur a penalty rather than give up a big play. Unfortunately sports has evolved into coaching to play outside the rules knowing the ref's won't call penalties on every play. Absolutely how Alabama plays.

Terrible play call? TERRIBLE decision to try to make a play at the front corner of the end zone 30 yards away. Worst possible choice the QB made.

Would have needed to be more egregious to get a call in that situation. The same reason why Clemson wasn't called on that infamous pick - excuse me, rub - play in the title game where Hunter Renfrow made the catch to beat Bama.

Bennett, who finished a respectable 22-of-32 passing for 208 yards, said he thinks Georgia was just trying too hard in the first half.

Yeah, except that he got a huge chunk of those completions and yards on those 2 TD drives in the 4th quarter that came with UGA already up by 3 TDs. It was an absolute outrage that UGA had a senior returning starter QB not only in the game but still throwing downfield until 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter with such a massive lead against a team playing their 4th string QB. The only reason that it was done was to pad SB IV's stats to keep him in the Heisman race and on NFL scouts' radar. The day is never going to come when I get upset about UGA running up the score on Auburn - or vice versa - but it was thoroughly blatant what and why UGA was doing and total bush league. So yeah, getting SB IV over 200 yards passing was more important than, say, getting Robinson 100 rushing yards, right? Halfway through the season and none of the UGA 4 and 5 star recruits at RB have posted a 100 yard game. Indeed none have reached 100 since Cook in the Tennessee game last year but hey, who cares ... let's have SB IV throw the ball 12 times in the 4th quarter when we are already up by 20-30 points!

The worst part: even if there was some actual need to still be throwing the ball in a 4th quarter blowout the guy who should have been doing it was Carson Beck and not SB IV. Bennett is a returning senior who is as good as he is going to get while playing in Athens. Beck is the guy who needs as many snaps as he can get so that if UGA actually needs him to play for a stretch he won't be the absolute disaster that Jalen Milroe was for Alabama just now. Can someone explain to me how and why maximizing Bennett's stats became a bigger priority for the UGA program than - I don't know - making sure that Darnell Washington gets more than 2 touches a game?

To look no better than that Auburn team for even a quarter is a disgrace. They had a good excuse a third string an with virtually no experience!

Yup. Absolutely was PI, again. The officials were so good to Bama throughout the game too—Bama OLine was holding on around half of the snaps their offense took…

QB play means everything in the SEC Bama Would have been beaten if A&M had a good QB. SB has got to start better or we’ll be down quickly when Tenn rolls around. Then we’ll have to pass pass pass to stay up with them. I believe they beat Bama. They have really turned that program around with a good QB and good receivers.

I think there are a couple of options for me to be happy about Ga football. Don't watch, tune in during the second half after SB4 warms up or for SB4 to hit a few wide open receivers and not pass into double or triple coverage. Yes I will praise him for a marvelous TD run but the other stuff is bound to catch up with us and needs some immediate attention..

Pleased with the way the running game has progressed.

Looks like we need a little work on defensive coverage of the wide out screen.

Good win over Auburn. Go Dawgs

How does UGA "shake off the rough start"? If we could get Stetson "having fun" in the first half...UGA would be unstoppable... providing the OL backs him up as they did midway second half. I truly hope you have fun with Tennessee, Stetson and Miss. State. UGA flashed brilliance against Auburn. Great effort...now on to Vandy ...a bye and a whole different work schedule after that. I do think KY will be little problem for the Dawgs...maybe Florida. Just musing.
