Good overview on the game and players. I believe the stock even given to Bennett is certainly grading on the curve. The biggest challenge for his, beyond decision making when he is under stress, is hitting receivers in stride. That limits YAC more than anything there. I would also have to say I’m just not seeing the NFL potential of Ringo like others. For his size and speed, he always seems to be caught out of place on numerous plays. Maybe he is relying on his closing speed or something but he appears to be the weak link in the secondary so far. Need no mistakes Saturday and for the fans to show up LOUD. Go DAWGS.

The stats for Bennett may have been an "Even" but his performance was pretty bad and in my opinion his worst yet. Turn that big Brock TD into an INT since it was literally BEHIND even the Florida receiver; that one pass that was pretty much just passed to the Florida receiver that they dropped; plus a lot of those other 50/50 balls and double-coverage throws and I am 100% sure that Beck would've had a better game.

I'm really concerned heading into the UT game and I think there is real reason to be worried.

Beck is the better QB and I'm thinking he'll finally be his chance Saturday. The Vol's have been and will plan on SBIV...pressure the QB and stop the run, when Beck comes in, their plans go out the window, and our run game explodes along with some beautiful dimes thrown. Add the best fanbase in college football and the Vol's won't be able to hear themselves think.......GO DAWGS!

Not piling on MG but he was the biggest voice of more than a few (DN forum you know who you are) that predicted the UGA RB's (McIntosh and Milton) stat totals would exceed the stat totals of Cook and White last season. McIntosh and Milton would both need to average about 100 ypg the rest of the way to approach Cook and White's rushing #'s.

Not piling on SBIV but calling out those (you know who you are) that said he would be even better (and a Heisman candidate) this year with ANOTHER year (4th) of starting experience and 1st team reps. SBIV needs to AVERAGE about 4 TD passes/game the rest of the way to reach his passing TD totals from last year. SBIV's passer rating is down 25 pts (15%) from last season WITH all the additional 1st team reps and game experience.

People have mentioned that the UGA players thought it was or was going to be too easy and lost focus at halftime. SBIV is in his 6th (!) year of CFB. 5th as a starter. He is the QB, captain. LEADER. Losing focus should not be in his vocabulary. SBIV needs to have a very good game vs TN. The question is, what will CKS do IF SBIV has another slow start or off game?

Beck is the better QB. But I’m reasonably sure he will not get a chance this coming Saturday. Kirby seems unwilling to let anyone else play QB. Mahomes couldn’t beat Stet out at UGA if he was on the team.

It's too late in the season to start talking about changing quarterbacks. We're 8-0 with Bennett and Smart and Monken have decided to ride or die with him, so we have no choice but to follow suit. And everyone is excited about Beck based (primarily) on what he did in mop-up duty against Vanderbilt. That was great, but it's NOT the same as being in a pressure-packed game against Tennessee. But I agree with whoever said that Stetson seemed to get a little cocky (I think that's his true personality) coming out for the second half. He's not good enough to be cocky -- or have his stock be even.

And neither should Dom Blaylock. How can his stock be even when he plays one snap, has a ball taken away from him, and then is not heard from the rest of the game? That one makes no sense.

Glad to see Chris Smith get some love. He played a great game Saturday. His run support was outstanding.

And though I've been one of his harshest critics, Ringo actually didn't play that badly against Florida. I mean, I recall that one ball got over his head but he was in position. He just sort of misjudged it a little. But I was there and watched him, and most of the time, he was running right with the receiver, even if the ball didn't come his way.

And finally, it's kind of become "the thing" to trash UF fans for leaving early, and maybe some did do that on Saturday. But in all honesty, they didn't leave in droves as Mike is suggesting. And, when things got tight late in the third quarter, Gator fans were plenty loud. Let's hope that we have reason to stay through the end of the game Saturday and that the victory is ours. Go Dawgs!

Agree with most of what you say. Except "it is too late in the season" to change QB's Saban did it to UGA twice. Once in the SECCG and once in the CFBCG. Both AL wins.

So IF SBIV starts slow or has a bad game vs TN CKS should just take the L and hope a 1 loss UGA makes the playoffs? A loss against TN and UGA doesn't make the playoffs. How long do you stick with SBIV if TN gets ahead?
