ATHENS — Nolan Smith will be out for the foreseeable future following his upcoming surgery on a torn pectoral muscle. But the Georgia football team is not done with him yet, as Smith is still helping his teammates.

    Nolan Smith absolutely is a DGD! I will be pulling for him to get healthy and make some noise in the NFL.

    Absolutely Agree !! Praying for Nolan to have a Full and Speedy recovery and get a great shot of fulfilling his dreams of playing in the NFL. Nolan is the epitome of a DGD. I sure Hope his teammates will play their very best and leave all they have to give on the field, for the team, for themselves and family/friends, and for Nolan Smith !! Go Dawgs !!

    Man, hate to lose his play and presence. Such a leader on the field and keeping folks focused and this will be really needed on the defense Saturday. No time to celebrate the play because UT will be lining up for the next play and Smith would’ve kept that straight. Hate it more for him and all the work he has done. Quick healing and best of luck at the next level for this DGD

    Exactly what I expected out of Nolan. He was a coach on the field. Now he'll be a coach on the sideline and in the locker and meeting rooms.
