Saturday will be an emotional day for the Georgia football program, as it is set to honor two program legends. In the weeks leading up to Saturday’s game between No. 1 Tennessee and No. 3 Georgia, legends Charley Trippi and Vince Dooley passed away. The former was 100 while the latter was 90.

Fond memories as a kid, "a Y Boy" playing before the home games and begging for chin straps after the Dawgs had finished....my hero was Pat Dye, got a couple of straps from him and a helmet....I must say that I'm glad that Dawg found great success at Auburn and we got that ole War Eagle Dooley.....By far we got the best deal!
Born and growing up in Athens, I have those same memories DJG76. I will always remember Kelly and the great influence he had on my life as a young boy at the “Y”. Go Dawgs!
