Georgia’s ferocious front looks to turn heat up on Mississippi State QB Will Rogers
ATHENS — Georgia’s defensive front will be looking to bring the heat on what’s forecasted to be a cold Mississippi Saturday night.

UGA's defensive front is a "joke" Tebow? Last I checked, joke is still slang for being a clown, and doing s-t-u-p-i-d things. If you want to see a TRUE joke..Look in the mirror.
Ha, I scratched my head over that too. Surely the word "not" was left out, I hope! Also hoping that being able to clinch the division will be good motivation to play inspired football for 60 minutes...that's my only concern after winning two emotional games. I always think back to the 2004 Dawgs blowout of LSU that was followed by a dud vs underdog UT the next week. We only have to look back to the Mizzou game to know how things can fall apart on the road when inspiration is low in a hostile environment...Go Red Dawgs and keep the edge!
Miss. State is lauded for this prevention number and that offensive number...but...for such a "great" team..they have....3 losses! Not one or even two..but 3. I expect UGA to add another L.
The Dawgz play as a team not individuals and they have been turning up the heat and bringing the boom since the first game of the season and that's no joke. They are not perfect, but they are elite. Hunker down Junkyard Dawgz.😎
Hey Eric_C
Not sure your concerns are well founded here, my friend.
I don't think you should worry about the comparison to the 2004 team with the current one. The 2004 version of the Dawgs was coached by Mark Richt and, like most every other team he coached, underachieved. His two SEC title winning teams were pretty dang good, and the 2007 natty was stolen from us because we didn't win our conference, but they were the only exceptions. This Dawg team is stronger, faster, and more talented than any of those, and the coaching staff is far superior as well.
Barring a rash of catastrophic injuries on both sides of the ball, or something crazy like that, this year's team will be just fine.
All this team needs to do is just keep the main thing the main thing, and we will not lose to any team we face this year.
I mean, it was a weird thing to say, but he clearly meant no disrespect by it. I think he was trying to use the word the way people use words like "filthy," "sick" or "dirty" to describe a very strong team/unit.
Relax fellas, Tim is complimenting them. He is saying that after all of the high draft picks last year, they are so good again this year, this must be a joke. They aren't getting the love the deserve--just like last year.
I think zone coverage will be the play and making Miss State work for every 1st down. Sacks & TFL are difficult to come by because of the way their offense runs. If UGA can get a lead and expand on that lead, then Miss State will have to start looking for more explosive plays and get away from their quick dink & dunk scheme and force Rogers to hold the ball a little longer. Once that happens the pressure can start to be dialed up and get there.
Yes, indeed.
Yes, this looks to be a game where we need significant early touchdowns to set up our defense for bigger success.
There are several pathways to victory. All require hunkering down, but, in a very real sense, Kirby's baking performing to a high standard into the cake. Plus, as he says toughness is built into the team's DNA. Toughness travels.
Go, Dawg!
