Kirby Smart makes sure Georgia football coaching staff cashing in on 9-0 start
ATHENS —Kirby Smart said he divided the season up into quarters, but he’s making sure his coaching staff gets their dollars along the way.

Sorry, but $100k isn't going to keep any of these coaches from going to another school for a promotion or as a head college football coach at a Power 5 school or on to the NFL.
As much as I hate to say it, expect us to lose Monken and other top assistant coaches within the next year or two. It's the nature of the beast. Bama deals with coaching turnover almost every year, and it's usually a key coach that they lose. Bama is feeling that coaching carousel this season especially.
Only hoping we keep Monken, McGee, and Brown at least one more season.
Coach Scott is the biggest bargain in college football! He has come from nobody from nowhere to the premier defensive line coach in the country.
Kirby’s recognition of talent extends beyond high school players and the transfer portal.
Let's recognize Monken's value: give him a 5 year $5M contract, that costs him $1M to leave. DN his age, but maybe we could keep him to retirement. (Clemson is rally feeling the loss of both their DC and OC).
IDK… hard to say what Monken’s personal goals/agenda might be. Reportedly, he is not really wanting all that comes with a college HC job, but, perhaps, he wouldn’t mind another shot at the NFL—or, perhaps, he is content being regarded by many as one of the best OC’s in college football?
Yeah, I'd jump Monken to $5 mil. over 3 years. $2 mil to bail. $100 grand each year over next two years not enough. This guy is invaluable.
We'll see how he does against a spirited MS team tonight? UGA should roll over the "cowbells."
That third thing would be great…..😎👌🤣
