Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Georgia favored to blow out Georgia Tech amid college football’s so-called ‘Rivalry Week’
Georgia football will get a break from the cold weather and a grueling SEC schedule with Georgia Tech coming to town as a 33-point underdog.

Wow. No "recency bias" there.
isnt It the first game since 2018 in Athens?
It might be interesting to take on the other In state schools.
The weather, fan atmosphere, perfect season on line for seniors, all conducive to UGA winning big. And win they will. I do believe it will be a better game than previous outings, as Brent Key is doing some good things at Tech these days. Certainly surprised NC.
" With UGA winning 17 of the last 20 "....holy cow, have I been in Montana THAT long? Ha!
Bring on them Bees! It's GOOD OLD FASHIONED HATE WEEK FELLAS!!!
It is. I was going to say the same thing.
Why on Earth would you have a neutral site for GA vs GA Tech. They are both in the state of the Georgia, so really the only advantage would be a half-and-half crowd (in theory, at least). The only reason to do it would be because of financial reasons.
Anyway, Georgia needs to make sure to handle GA Tech completely and make sure we don't give them an inch of room. More aggressive play-calling please...
No time to go to sleep or be caught looking in another direction. Go Dawgs. And make a few more 3rd and 1s than last week.
Take care of business. Jump on them. Get up early. Clear the bench early. Home game no 70 travel limit.
The only thing that can beat this UGA team is Kirby Smart. And oh boy, Kirby likes the GT head coach. That means, we're shutting down the offense right after halftime. Look for a 18-9 nail biter.
PLEASE! No messing around, Dawgs! Focus on beating these guys! Those guys would love nothing more than to ruin our undefeated season. This is their new year’s bowl game. Be focused. Be hungry. Be ready. Keep chopping and GATA!
GO DAWGS!
WRECK TECH!
The goal for this game.....WIN......so quickly and convincingly that Beck gets a quarter and half of snaps leaving Vandergriff half a quarter of "piling on the score" a la Josh Heupel......since its "Hate Week" it is good sportsmanship! I'd like to see every BULL DAWG down to the trainers get snaps!!!!
There was a time 50-60 years ago when Tech was a power, and the rivalry was intense, but no longer. Two years ago Tech cancelled the game. That was a good idea.
I'm surely going to miss Jahmyr Gibbs this year.....transfering to Bama was only a slight improvement in his total yards gained... 746 in 21 774 in 22/ 5.22 ypc in 21 6.5 ypc in 22.....I'm thinking those two yards he gained last year against us might be needed.......GO DAWGS! As far as the continuation of the rivalry....we should have dumped Tech years ago and filled the space with Clemson at the beginning of the season.
Heck, I agree with everything you said. I honestly don't get why people are remotely concerned with TECH...or UGA, for that matter.
UGA's "2nd String" could beat TECH. If they roll the first string out there...it's gonna be blowout. And, they'll do it on the ground, with an occasional pass (3-4) beyond 10 yds..
It'll mostly be the edge passing game, to get the ball to their skill players on the perimeter. When and if Tech catches up to that, they'll go over the top to Bowers, McIntosh, Smith or McConkey ...on a skinny post or wheel route. It's their M.O. against lesser competition like, Mizzou, Kent St, AUB, etc...
IMO...You won't see the real UGA, till they play LSU...and, yes...there WILL be payback!
UGA 49...TECH 6
