That was a GREAT game between two talented teams. Props to OSU they played an outstanding game. Still can't believe we pulled that off
Y’ALL!!!
Happy New Year!!
I’ve said it so many times this year. Our boys are some dang kind of resilient!!! Just don’t stop.
Thanks Mike, for including it In your article. The biggest timeout in UGA history.
That was the best two teams, much respect for ohio state, way to bow your necks Dawgs
Absolutely, one of the greatest and most timely recognition of and reaction to an opponent’s play that I can remember!
Just an awesome coaching call!
My thanks, also, Mike!
Go Dawgs!
It will be remembered in championship lore as "The Timeout" ... appropriately enough against The Ohio State University!
He learned from not calling “the timeout” on 2nd and 26.
still can’t believe Kirby recognized the alignment and called a timeout on that fake punt. Talk about doing your homework and applying the knowledge. Best game management example I can remember ever seeing and the pivotal call of the game.
I agree, that was a brilliant job of coaching. I can’t believe how fast everything took place and Kirby pulled it off. Kudos to the official for stopping the play because everything took place in only a few seconds…..maybe even microseconds. Also, the controversial (for Ohio State fans) 4th down conversion by Bowers should be played over and over for future players showing them the impact of giving 100% effort. That was a critical play and showed pure hustle and determination by Brock. Go Dawgs and Happy New Year!
Agree and can’t believe there is so much controversity around the Bowers play. He clearly had the first down and didn’t step out of bounds. I was surprised to hear it had become so controversial. DAWGS need to play better but man, you can’t doubt the heart and drive for this team - what a comeback.
It became so controversial to Herbstreit. LOL. He led the angst against it. What a clown.
